Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson wants to be a rapper like Eminem. The Twilight Saga star Pattinson was obsessed with Eminem as young boy and was all praises for the Love The Way You Lie rapper.

In an interview,Pattinson revealed his childhood dream, which is to become a rapper someday far from his present stature as of Hollywood's hottest star.

"You want a secret? OK, how about this," Pattinson told BBC.

"I've got a whole collection of tapes of me rapping from when I was 13! I wanted to be a rapper so there are hundreds and hundreds of tapes.

Pattinson has always been outspoken about his ambition to be more of an artist but it comes as a surprise that he wanted to be a rapper.

The Breaking Dawn actor said he has been obsessed with Eminem, who won an Oscar for Lose Yourself, ever since the release of Slim Shady. The actor is convinced that Eminem is a genius.

Will there be a collaboration in the horizon for the Pattinson and Eminem? Robert confessed he would love to sing with Eminem.

"That would be really amazing," said the actor.

Pattinson will next be seen in Breaking Dawn, the adaptation of the fourth novel in the Twilight Saga. Its film adaptation will be split into two installments. Part 1 is scheduled for release on November 18, next year, while the last film in the Twilight Saga will be shown on November 16, 2012.
