‘Twin Peaks’ toys: Funko’s pop, action figures revealed

“Twin Peaks” toys have been recently revealed by Funko. The character from the 1990 show, which has been revived for another season to be launched in May, has been turned into vinyl toys as well as action figures. Prices and release date for the same has not been announced yet.

The pop and action figures include characters such as Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan), Lo Lady (Catherine E. Coulson), Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee), Audrey Horne (Sherilyn Fenn), Bob (Frank Silva) and Leland Palmer (Ray Wise). Speculations suggest that the toy range will arrive this year itself.

Laura Palmer’s toy is one of the unique figures from the range revaled by Funko. The toy and action figure shows corpse wrapped in plastic.

The toys measure 7.6 cm tall (3 3/4 inch) and has nine points of articulation reportedly. The release date for toy range has not been announced yet. However, it is expected that they will be out soon. The release date might coincide with the premiere date of “Twin Peaks” season 3.

The 2017 season will have 18 episodes of one hour each. No details about the plot have been revealed as of now. The original cast is returning in their respective roles. Moreover, several new actors have also been roped in. New additions to the cast include Naomi Watts, Laura Dern, Tim Roth, Michael Cera, Monica Bellucci and “The Walking Dead” actor Josh McDermitt (Eugene Porter).

“Twin Peaks” season 3 will premiere on Showtime at 9PM ET on May 21 in the US. In Australia, the show will be streamed on Stan at the same time, which is at 1PM on May 22. The premiere will be two-hour long reportedly.
