Time magazine has named Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner as one of the most of influential teens of 2014, but not everyone agrees. Social media users reacted almost violently to the list released, claiming they cannot believe the Jenners would ever be in the same list as Malala Yousafzai.

Twitter users cannot hold in their disbelief that Kylie and Kendall would ever be on the same category as the daughters of President Obama and Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Malala Yousafzai. On the part of Time Magazine, they believe that the sisters are teens to watch out for because one is a budding model taking over the fashion world while another is an entrepreneur at the tender age of 17.

'What's wrong with this magazine?,' wrote Twitter user @missyp6343. Another twitter user thinks its laughable that Kylie is being compared to Malala Yousafzai. Other teens from the Entertainment industry who were included in the list were Chloe Moretz and Lorde.

But while social media users, especially the teens, think Kendall and Kylie Jenner are misrepresenting them and not as influential as Time says they are, Kris Jenner already released a theory as to why Kylie can be very influential, surpassing even her half-sister, Kim Kardashian, and her statements just might be backed by real stats too.

"One of Kylie's defining moments was showing up at Kim's wedding with blue hair, eventually leading to her own hair-extension line," says the momager. "She drove herself to the beauty shop and did it herself. Kylie changed it back to black after a few months, but fans wanted the blue hair back." She also said that Kylie has a very accessible look, and a popular one at that, so even her older sisters are asking for her fashion advice.

Kris's statements are backed by data too. According to data released by fashion site Polyvore, which is an analysis of its 20 million monthly unique users, Kylie's popularity is trending up compared to her more outspoken and visible sisters in the past two years. On the other hand, Kendall is holding her own, being a model. The styles of the Jenner sisters are polar opposites but the two of them have their own huge following.
