Tyra Banks granted restraining order against stalker Marten Williams Jr.
Talk show host Tyra Banks was granted a temporary restraining order against Marten Williams. The restraining order is valid until the hearing set on October 28 which will be held to determine if the restraining order should become permanent.
According to TMZ, Tyra Banks previously expressed fear from her "mentally unstable celebrity stalker," 39-year-old Marten Williams, Jr. (Height: 6'2", Weight: 220 lbs). Tyra claims that since 2006, Williams has "targeted and harassed and stalked" her and her family.
Tyra claims the man has a history of mental illness and is convinced that he killed George Bush Jr. and that Michael Jackson is still alive, according to the documents filed by Banks in Los Angeles Country Superior Court.
The talk show host further claimed that Williams left letters and items at Banks' Beverly Hills home which the host described as "ominous" and frightening. The items pertained in the document included William's prescription medication, Los Angeles County jail wristbands and note about a wedding ceremony set for January 08, 2011 allegedly for Tyra Banks and Williams.
Earlier this month, Tyra Banks' stalker was arrestedfor trespassing on former supermodel's property, telling the responding police that he was just bringing Banks "offerings." He was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold. However, Banks fear that Williams may already have been released.
