Chelsea FC will be facing their Round of 16 adversary during the 2012/13 Europa League, FC Steaua Bucaresti on matchday 2 of the 2013/14 UEFA Champions League.

With Rafa Benitez then at the helm, Chelsea defeated Steaua in the process before claiming the Europa League trophy.

The Romanian team almost ousted the Premier League giants when they won the first leg 1-0; however, the Blues came back strong to score 3 goals in the second leg, while Steaua only managed to net one, with Chelsea winning 3-2 on aggregate.

Blues veteran Frank Lampard knows what it takes to overcome the Red and Blues, especially when playing the latter on its home soil.

"In terms of tomorrow, we certainly don't expect an easy game. We're lucky we played Steaua Bucharest last season because it makes us fully aware of the good team that they are and particularly the atmosphere we're going to get tomorrow," Lampard told chelseafc.com.

"Last year, in the first half we were slow and we weren't ready and we lost the game in the first half. Considering the position we're in now, and we need a result tomorrow, we have to start the game at a top level."

"We're well aware Steaua are a strong team and if we just turn up and think we're Chelsea, we're going to come and play and win the game easily, it's not going to happen, but that's down to us."

Eden Hazard and Marco van Ginkel are out due to injuries, while Kevin De Bruyne was not included in the 20-man squad that flew to Romania.

Meanwhile, Steau are undefeated in their domestic league but are coming from a matchday 1 defeat against Schalke 04.

Stefan Nikolic and Alexandru Chipciu are absentees due to injury, while Mihai Pintili's presence remains doubtful for Steaua.
