It was an eventful night in Monaco as the UEFA Champions League Draw resulted to Arsenal joining the toughest group, while Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo bagged the Best Player in Europe Award.
Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, 19-time Turkish champions Galatasaray, and Belgian holders RSC Anderlecht join the Gunners in group D.
It seems like the north Londoners are getting the hang of being drawn in relatively more difficult assignments, after they were held in the same bunch as Napoli, Marseille, and BVB last season, barely making it through to the knockout rounds on goal difference.
Meanwhile, Portuguese sensation Ronaldo bettered Bayern Munich pair Arjen Robben and Manuel Neuer to get a streak going in collecting individual awards after winning the Ballon d'Or in 2013.
"I have to say thank you to my team-mates as without them my individual aren't possible,' Ronaldo said upon collecting the award,"
"I would like to also thank my family, my coaches and the journalists who voted for me."
"I'm really happy, I've never won this award so I'm going to get my brother to place this in my museum."
