It's Real Sociedad's turn to host English giants Manchester United at the Anoeta - San Sebastian on Matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League.

The Basque side has not won a single game in Group A, but La Real boss Jagoba Arrasate remains optimistic that his side may still be able to play the role of a giant slayer on Tuesday.

"If we do things right and get close to our game plan we can win. This is the only thing on our minds," Arrasate told uefa.com.

"United have qualification in their sights and are playing away from home so we don't know how they'll approach [the game]. We have to try to play our normal game and take the initiative - if we can get close to doing what we want and do our jobs well, as we have been doing, I think we can get the better of United."

After winning only one of their first 8 fixtures, Sociedad has found a way to secure wins in the La Liga, having been unbeaten in the last four games.

"We've improved our league form - we've got more points and more goals now, so in that sense we are more confident," he revealed.

Despite of the absence of Sir Alex Fergusson at the helm, Arrasate still believes that United, given their quality, is a very tough match-up.

"They are the reigning champions of England, they have great players," he said.

"I don't know if people are less respectful than they were or if they've been more ambitious against them because Sir Alex is no longer there [but] we know they're a very tough opponent."

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are on a streak of their own, having an eight-game unbeaten run, winning five of them in the process.

United boss David Moyes stated that his squad have drastically improved since he first stepped in, and hopes that his squad's form lasts as long as possible.

The Scot is not taking anything for granted in spite of a clear disparity in terms of quality and form, in United's favour.

"I have a lot of respect for Sociedad. We have to play well if we're going to get those ten points, which will get us over the line," said Moyes.

Moyes is impressed with young starlet Adnan Januzaj has been showing thus far.
"He gets kicked up and down in training every day. But he gets up. He has learned from the good professionals that he has got to get on with it and accept it," he disclosed.

"He only needs to look at Lionel Messi, who is probably the best in the world at getting kicked, getting up and getting on with it and continually producing magic all the time."

"I am not in any way comparing him to Lionel Messi but I am saying we hope the way he gets up after he has been kicked is the way Adnan continues to behave."
