Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White dropped some really good news for UFC fans in his recent interview. According to White, Anderson Silva will be back in the UFC before 2015. What is more? White also revealed that Gina Carano on UFC is almost a done deal.

In an interview with MMA Heat's Karyn Bryant, Silva revealed that he was very excited because he will be able to train full time now after the doctor's clearance. Silva said he was extremely blissful of the fact that his leg is good, but he revealed he will not fight in 2014. "Next year, I'm back," said Silva. The Brazilain mixed martial artist was also aware that White wanted him to fight in 2014, but he insisted that he will make his comeback in 2015. "This year, I no back for fight," Silva said. He added that he had already laid out his plans for the rest of the year like training, spending time with his family and working for the academy in Brazil.

However, during White's interview with UFC Tonight on Fox as reported by MMAmania.com, the UFC president contradicted Silva's recent statement. White hinted that Silva sometimes changes his mind. Thus, Silva's recent statement is likely to change. "He says a lot of things in the media like, 'I'll never fight Chael Sonnen again,' and then he does, you know what I mean," said White. "I think we'll have him before '15," White added. He said that Silva is "physically ready," and the Brazilian's recent statements may attributed to mental disposition.

Furthermore, White revealed that mixed martial artist-turned-actress Gina Carano fighting in the UFC is close to becoming a reality. "Holly Holm and Gina Carano are all a matter of getting a deal done."

Carano hasn't fought professionally in the last six years. Carano's last fight was with Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino in August 2009, where she suffered the first-ever defeat in her MMA career. She recently told Gastown Gazette that she was 'completely broken" when she lost her first MMA fight. Since then, Carano stopped competing professionally.

Will White really be able to bring Carano to his stable? Fox Sports reported that if Carano signs with UFC, she will get an immediate title shot against undefeated Ronda Rousey.
