The UFC president Dana White is open to the possible return of Brock Lesnar in the UFC. It has been three years since the former UFC heavyweight champion bowed out of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) competition after losing to Alistair Overeem via technical knockout at UFC 141.

Thus far, Dana White still maintains open communication lines with Brock Lesnar and he recently revealed on the most recent edition of "The Download" on UFC.com that he is open to discuss if Lesnar wants to be back in the UFC.

"I have a great relationship with Brock, we talk all the time," White revealed. "I don't know, we'll see. If he wants to fight he knows my number."

White has always marvelled at how well Lesnar did in the UFC despite his lack of prior fighting experience, not to mention his crippling illness. Now that Lesnar has fully recovered from his illness, the possibilities have opened for him. "It's pretty amazing what he did and accomplished here while having diverticulitis," he said. "It would be interesting to see a 100-percent healthy Brock Lesnar compete."

In the event the Brock Lesnar decides to come back in the UFC, there is a number of interesting match-ups for him. A rematch opposite Alistair Overeem or a trilogy fight against Frank Mir would be interesting. On the other hand, Lesnar's pay-per-view numbers would still be huge, even after the three-year layoff. Moreover, it is expected to give the heavyweight division a nice shot since the injury of Cain Velasquez in UFC 180.

Brock Lesnar struggled with diverticulitis throughout his time with UFC and according to experts, the disease has changed him for the worse although he defeated Shane Carwin at UFC 116 at the time when he was suffering the disease.

Just recently, the former WWE broadcaster Jim Ross revealed in Fox Sports that Brock Lesnar appears to have "gotten back on track" and he sees no reason why he "couldn't have the potential to return to the UFC and sell pay-per-views."
