A number of train mishaps have recently been reported in different parts of the world such as in India and Australia. Most of the incidents involving rail accidents were due to trains jumping off tracks or colliding with other land vehicles.

However, a rail accident on Saturday morning in Zaporozhye, Ukraine, created headlines since it was no ordinary hit-and-run accident. The couple hit by the train was having sex on top of the rail tracks. The woman died on the spot, while her 41-year-old boyfriend lost his legs.

However, it turns out it was not the first such kind of kinky sex on the Midnight Express that resulted in death by orgasm.

In 2008, another couple from South Africa died in a similar manner - that is hit by a freight train while making love on the tracks. The train driver said he actually saw the pair and blew his horn, but the couple, identified as Mduduzi Bandezi and Sibongile Radebe, went on having sex. The woman was allegedly a prostitute and the man was her customer.

Bandezi was found still wearing a condom when his half-naked body was found, reported Sowetan, which noted the area - a seldom used track except for freight trains - had a lot of used condom around.

It indicates the abandoned area is a popular sex for couples with no money to rent a room, but was lucky enough not to be run over by a train while in the throes of passion.

Unfortunately for Ukrainian couple, they were too drunken with wine and sex to notice the train.

"Returning from our friends', my girlfriend and I could not overcome our passionate nature and wanted to feel a sense of thrill near a railway track," iol News quoted the man's statement to the police.

Unfortunately for the three people in the two incidents, the thrill, instead of resulting in a new life, cost them their lives.
