UK-based navigation and positioning solutions company Veripos will open a branch office in Perth to provide sales and support for both Australia and New Zealand.

Veripos Regional Manager for Asia Pacific, Raymond Wong, said that this marked a further important stage in the company’s continuing development in response to growing worldwide demand for its precise positioning capabilities.

The new office will ensure significantly improved project management and technical support on behalf of a wide range of existing offshore clients, with the establishment of a workshop and dedicated training facilities and supported by increased stocks of proprietary GNSS equipment.

Veripos’ products and services, which include training programmes, are widely used by professionals in several areas of the offshore industry, including seismic exploration, survey & construction, marine and drilling.

Bernard He has been appointed as Veripos Country Manager – Australia. He will also oversee a planned expansion of operations throughout the region.
