During the first week of the month, Naughty Dog, the developers of the "Uncharted" game series, unveiled a 15-minute gameplay teaser during the Playstation Experience event held in Las Vegas. With game fanatics wondering when they can finally get their hands on the latest Nathan Drake adventure, Tesco Direct, a website specialising in selling PS4 games, hinted that the release date is slated for July 31, 2015.

Given that the release dates of previous instalments where in the last quarters of the year, initial estimates placed the "Uncharted 4" release to October 2015. However, Naughty Dog may be considering bumping up the release date due to its found success with "The Last of Us" brand, which did great business when it went out in July. This will support some musings within the gaming community that the stars are aligned for a mid-2015 release for Drake and his gang.

Presumably the last of the series, "Uncharted 4" will chart the last adventure of Drake and will come out exclusively on the PS4 console. Naughty Dog has yet to make official the plot of the game only that we know that Drake has hung up the vest and the gunslinging ways in the last chapter of "Uncharted 3: Drake's deception." The initial trailer showed him face down in a riverbank of what is presumably the Amazon forest, with the words of Sully on the background. Naughty Dog has dropped a generic description on where the last adventure may go as it said in its website.

"Retired fortune hunter, Drake, is forced back into the world of thieves," the description from Naughty Dog website reads. "With the stakes much more personal, Drake embarks on a globe-trotting journey in pursuit of a historical conspiracy behind a fabled pirate treasure."

The game play shown during the event also clarifies that the hero is separated from his buddy Sully and is overlooking a cliff at the edge of the ocean. The more than 16-minute footage also hints at Sully and Drake being separated from each other as they are chasing some pirate treasure when Drake casually talks to a hanging skeleton if "he ever saw a tall and lanky man going this way."

Many followers of the "Uncharted" series are heavily anticipating the release of the last chapter given that there are some speculations that this will be the finale of the long-successful action adventure saga. A movie version is also being negotiated in Hollywood with a range of actors including Bradley Cooper already approached to play the smooth talking Drake.
