"Under The Dome" Season 2 preview video reveals that two of the favourite characters won't survive the first episode. Also, the new season preview indicates that what is out comes inside. The fans of this hit science thriller can expect to see new mysteries and arrival of new characters.

In the preview video, Brian K Vaughan, executive producer of "Under the Dome," says that the second season is going to "take us to places where the book never got to go." "Under tTe Dome" is based on Stephen King's book of the same name. Vaughan adds that no one is safe in the upcoming season.

Neal Baer, co-executive producer, says that Stephen King is bringing "his usual twists and turns and shocking events" in the Second Season.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Dwight Yoakam is joining the cast of "Under The Dome" for Season 2. He has a recurring guest role. Yoakam, an actor-musician, will portray the character of Lyle Chumley, a man who runs a barbershop in Chester's Mill.

According to the report, Yoakam's character has a "complicated history with Big Jim -- having once been romantically linked with his dead wife, Pauline. Lyle also has a mysterious connection to the Dome, and very well may know the answer to its origins." Dean Norris portrays the role of Big Jim.

In addition to Chumley, two more new characters will be introduced in the new season. According to the preview video, Junior's uncle and a young school teacher will be introduced.

The filming of Second Season started on March 03, 2014 in Wilmington. Stephen King tweeted on March 02, 2014: "The 2nd season of UNDER THE DOME starts production tomorrow. I'm pretty stoked." Stephen King has written the premiere episode of the second season. Also, he has donned the hat of executive producer and will be present on the set as consultant for the rest of the episodes.

CBS has announced that "Under The Dome" Season premieres on June 30, 2014. On Location Vacations reports that the cast and crew of "Under The Dome" are filming at 1811 Chestnut St, Wilmington in North Carolina.
