Pictures of the 24-year-old star of Mean Girls have cropped up, donning the allegedly $2,500 worth of stolen necklace.

In addition to the pictures of LiLo wearing the necklace in question, the authorities are also looking into additional evidences that could pin down the actress. Owners of the Venice jewelry store has turned in images from a surveillance camera, with Lohan captured entering the store, said Etidbits. com

When proven that the necklace in the picture is actually the lost but recovered jewelry from the Kamofie & Co., a Venice jewelry store located near Lohan’s place, a Los Angeles County District Attorney has warned that the embattled actress is in for a lot of trouble.

The Los Angeles authorities has earlier maintained that Lohan is facing felony grand theft charges and when convicted, she is facing imprisonment up to three years.

Authorities knocked on LiLo’s home last week, armed with a search warrant for the stolen necklace. But before the police could even hand in the search warrant, an associate of the beleaguered actress turned over the necklace to the authorities.
