After reports alluded to a royal baby’s entry into the British monarchy later this week, or by the weekend, fans of the royal family are relieved that they have till next week for the much-awaited arrival.

Kate and William are following the tradition of Princess Diana, who concealed the birth of the older Prince, say reports. Diana announced that the heir to the throne would arrive on July 1st, but William was born ten days earlier.

Kate has travelled with her parents to a location away from her hospital, suggesting the baby isn’t due yet, while royal baby watchers are getting anxious over the Kate Wait debate. There have been a number of hoax-arrival dates with the first one being July 13 and a second being July 17 – the latter still looms depending on the time zone.

NBC news anchor, Mandy Clark was quoted by the Huffington Post as saying she overheard, "Kate's mum reportedly told friends that the baby will be a Leo, a star sign that only begins on July 23."

That’s adequate evidence for the British to wait it out till next week or hope that Kate will opt for induced labour.

Newspaper reports say that neither Kate nor William are aware of the baby’s sex and the Queen has been flooded with questions by children who asked, ‘Do you want Kate to have a prince or a princess.’

Perhaps that’s not the kind of question that you would ask a monarch, but she did say that she hoped the baby would arrive soon. The Queen is getting ready for her vacation as the coming week approaches.

Prince Charles and Camilla have also been rather edgy about the whole affair, saying that they are just waiting by the phone awaiting the good news.
