Victoria's Secret model Candice Swanepoel poses for photographers with the Royal Fantasy Bra gift set, valued at $10 million during a photo opportunity at the Victoria's Secret store in New York City

Victoria's Secret will launch new innovation for their apparel in their upcoming fashion show, including 3D-printing technology.

The lingerie brand teams up with 3D printing company Shapeways and long-time design partner Swarovski to produce a lingerie set dubbed as "Snow Angels." The set will be launched during the fantasy-themed runway show on Nov. 13 and will be aired over CBS on Dec. 10.

The launch of the lingerie set will be the first time 3D printing is used in a mass-produced garment as opposed to haute couture where the technology is previously applied.

"This is a new way to make a garment that's never been done before," Shapeways industrial designer Duann Scott explains to Style.com.

"We've seen some 3-D printing in fashion, in the haute couture in Europe. So it's been very rigid things, very artful things, but nothing that's been nice to wear," Scott adds. "This is the first piece for a mainstream brand-with a focus on the elegant, sensual form-not just rigid and stiff and alien-like. It's wearable."

Victoria's Secret collection design coordinator Sarah Sophia Lidz also describes the set as "a nod to the iconic Victoria's Secret theme, with beautiful white wings inspired by snowflakes, snowfall, frost, the northern lights-there's a lot of Swarovski."

For the runway show, VS Angel Lindsay Ellingson will model the Snow Angels set which includes a corset patterned after a snowflake and made with a combination of 3D print made by Shapeways and a "custom-produced crystal fabric" as described by Swarovski North America senior media manager Alexandria Nahlous to Women's Wear Daily. The same corset was also designed off a full-body scan to fit Ellingson exactly.

Earlier this month fellow VS Angel Candice Swanepoel was chosen to wear the Royal Fantasy bra which will also be featured in this year's fashion show, carrying on the tradition of wearing a multi-million dollar undergarment in the annual fashion show.
