US Actress Sara Gilbert Pregnant with Wife Linda Perry

American actress Sara Gilbert is pregnant with wife Linda Perry. The announcement was made on The Talk.

Gilbert, the creator of the CBS talk show, chose her own show to make the announcement. She revealed that she was expecting her first child with wife Perry with whom she had got married in March. The Tuesday announcement was made by the 39-year-old "The Big Bang Theory" actress during the segment of "Facing Your Fears." She explained the reason why she was not able to complete the dare where she was supposed to lie on a bed of nails while a cinder block had to be broken on her stomach. Her announcement apparently made her co-anchors like Sheryl Underwood, Aisha Tyler, Sharon Osbourne and Julie Chen freak out.

The US actress, most known for the ABC sitcom Roseanne, fought back tears when she announced that she was pregnant. "I really do believe in facing your fears and doing things that make you uncomfortable, but I actually can't do the dare because I'm pregnant," she said, "I feel good, I feel really good...at first I was really tired."

This is, however, the third time Gilbert is expecting a child. She already has a couple of children from her previous relationship with "The New Normal" co-creator Allison Adler. She has a 9-year-old son Levi and a 7-year-old daughter Sawyer. Gilbert was earlier in a straight relationship with Roseanne co-star Johnny Galecki. While she dated Galecki, the actress, last seen as Irene Dudek on CBS single-camera comedy series "Bad Teacher," came to the realisation that she was a lesbian. She has been with the 49-year-old former lead singer of "4 Non Blondes" since 2011.

The update of Gilbert's pregnancy was broken on Twitter by the official Twitter handle of "The Talk." "BIG BABY NEWS! Sending congratulations & love to @THEsaragilbert!!!! #TheTalk," it said. Twitter users were quick to congratulate Gilbert and Perry. "Congratulations Sara and Linda. What a lucky baby!!" Amy Lewis wrote. "So happy for Sara! Congrats! So glad to have some happy news for a change! Best of Health" was Finch's reaction. "Congrats Sara. I was scared when I saw the bed of nails though!" Mfreke wrote.
