FNArena has added another video to its Investors Education section on the website. In this educational video, ATW's Jerry Simmons makes a few observations across various risk assets.

Amidst what appears a handful of conflicting indications, the stand out observation is probably that US equities, represented by the S&P500 index, appear to be in the process of reversing their negative trend. In other words: could we be witnessing the initial reversal/preparation for the next move upwards?

Having said this, Simmons' analysis still seems less optimistic on the CRB index for commodities, as well as for copper. Both may be on the edge of another move downwards, or so it seems.

While the USD Index is not giving much of a signal these days, Simmons believes EUR/USD needs to break through 1.371-1.3715 before the uptrend can continue.

It goes without saying that this week everything happens in the shadow of the FOMC meeting in the US.
