Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal meet in the final of the 2013 U.S. Open in what would be a rematch of the 2010 and 2011 championships in Flushing Meadows, New York.

The top seed Djokovic from Serbia had to be put through the wringer by Switzerland’s Stanislas Wawrinka in the semifinals, but nonetheless pulled off the win in 5 sets, 2-6, 7-6(4), 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

Meanwhile, the second seed Rafael Nadal from Spain took the easier route in beating France’s Rafael Gasquet by winning in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6 (1), 6-2.
