2013 is almost over but we can't end this glorious year without celebrating Hollywood's breakout stars who managed to rise on the top despite the tough competition. From hot hunks to TV's hottest star, US Weekly gathered the Breakout Stars of 2013 who made a difference for this year's pop culture.
Jamie Dornan - the 31-year-old Irish actor is now the fans favorite to play the infamous Christian Grey for the upcoming movie "Fifty Shades of Grey." Known for his role as Axel von Fersen in Sofia Coppola's film Marie Antoinette, Dornan landed the most coveted role when "Sons of Anarchy" actor Charlie Hunnam dropped the project.
Ariana Grande - Nickelodeon's pop princess, Ariana Grande is blossoming into a respective singer with the voice that has been compared to that of Maria Carey and Whitney Houston. Greatly influenced by the two music legends, the 20-year-old singer is a force to be reckoned with in the coming years.
Henry Cavill - The man of steel in flesh! The British actor is known for his breakout role as Clark Kent for this year's film "Man of Steel." The 30-year-old actor films include "The Count of Monte Cristo" where he played as Albert Mondego, "Tristan & Isolde" as Melot, "Stardust" as Humphrey and "Immortals" as Theseus.
Michael B. Jordan - Set to star in Zac Efron's bromance film "That Awkward Moment" in 2014, Jordan started making waves when he took an emotional role of Oscar Grant in Fruitvale. He played as a young father who got shot by a police and raised awareness against racial profiling.
Robin Thicke - After MTV Video Music Awards, Robin Thicke's name became an overnight sensation when he performed on stage with the controversial Miley Cyrus. The "Blurred Lines" singer is never been hot after the awards night when Cyrus rubbed her foam finger all over him.
