It took the Americans about a half before they could solve the Lithuanian puzzle but when they did, Team USA delivered another convincing blowout victory with a final score of 96-to-68 over Lithuania in the semifinal round of the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain.

Team USA now advances to the final against the winner of the France-Serbia tiff, which is scheduled on Saturday (Australian time).

The Americans fired a 10-0 run to start the third quarter to gain their biggest lead in the ball game and never looked back to notch the easy win led by shooter Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors), who finished with 16 points on 2-of-5 three-point shooting.

Kyrie Irving (Cleveland Cavaliers) had a team-high 18 points, team captain James Harden with 16 markers and Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors) with 13 points making 3-of-6 from behind the arc.

Team USA outscored Lithuania, 33-14 in the third quarter. The Americans also forced 21 turnovers and contained Lithuania to just 30% (17/56) field goal shooting including 2-of-18 (11%) from the three-point line.
