Usher has a sex tape that’s being shopped around, but it could mean jail for the seller. A report claims that the private home video of the American R&B crooner and his ex-wife Tameka Foster exists, but it’s unlikely to hit online any time soon.

In 2010, the 36-year-old multi-Grammy winner reported to the police that someone broke into his car in 2009. He lost two laptops, two video cameras and jewellery worth U$1 million. Apparently, one of the stolen laptops contained his and Foster’s sex tape.

According to TMZ, someone was trying to sell the said sex tape shortly after Usher was robbed. However, as they were stolen property, no one would want to buy it. Fast forward four years later, the tape has resurfaced, and someone is trying to sell it again.

Don’t expect the tape to be sold to adult film companies, though. As the gossip site noted, no legitimate porn business would touch it because Usher would never give his authorisation. The seller is expected to go right to bloggers for the tape’s release, which is what Usher and her lawyer Mark Geragos are trying to prevent. They are said to be “aggressively on the hunt” to find the seller.

Usher and his stylist Foster were married in 2007, two years after they began dating. He became a stepfather to Foster’s three children from previous relationships, and a father to their two sons. Their union ended in divorce in 2009, though, following reports that his mother didn’t approve of their marriage from the start.

Their divorce was followed by child custody dispute of their two sons for three years. The judge ultimately awarded Usher the primary of their children.

Meanwhile, Usher’s latest song “Clueless” will be exclusively available in select boxes of cereal Honey Nut Cheerios found at Walmart stores in the U.S. According to reports, “Clueless” is a standalone single and won’t be included in “UR,” his upcoming album set to arrive in 2015.
