"Twilight" may be over and done but that doesn't mean it's the end of vampire films. In fact, a new movie series is set to become the next "Twilight." Say hello to "Vampire Academy" where the first book in the series of six is already set for a film adaptation.

The days of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as vampires have ended and it's time for brand new celebrities to take the spotlight. In fact, the hype has already begun for the celebrities signing on to the film adaptation of "Vampire Academy." More students have been enrolled on the official roster of the St. Vladimirs of which include Sami Gayle, Sarah Hyland and Zoey Deutch.

For those who have only heard of "Vampire Academy", the six-series novel is written by Richelle Mead which follows the story of teenager, Rose Hathaway and her vampire best friend, Lissa. Both girls attend a special school for vampires. The book synopsis is as follows.

"St. Vladimir's Academy isn't just any boarding school-it's a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them. Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. They've been on the run, but now they're being dragged back to St. Vladimir's-the very place where they're most in danger..."

"Rose and Lissa become enmeshed in forbidden romance, the Academy's ruthless social scene, and unspeakable nighttime rituals. But they must be careful lest the Strigoi-the world's fiercest and most dangerous vampires-make Lissa one of them forever."

Filming has already begun with the lead stars taking on boxing lessons for the physically challenging scenes. Unlike "Twilight", "Vampire Academy" promises a lot of action and sexy scenes as well. While Bella of "Twilight" sticks to her own thoughts and bubble with Edward, Rose played by Zoey Dutch kicks a whole lot of ass with witty sarcasm.
