Australian actor Nathaniel Buzolic, who played Kol Mikaelson, one of members of the Original vampire family in the hit TV CW show "The Vampire Diaries," (TVD) is now joining the cast of another hit show ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars," (PLL).

He will play the role of Dean, who comes to Rosewood, Pennsylvania to help Spencer Hastings, played by PLL actress Troian Bellisario.

30-year-old Buzolic, who hails from Sydney, Australia will first appear on the PLL episode "Cover For Me," which is the show's 9th episode on its current winter season.

It is not yet clear what exactly his character's purpose is, but according to "ET Online," Buzolic's character Dean "arrives in town with one mission: help Spencer ... whether she likes it or not!"

Only time will tell if Dean will be part of Spencer's team or is actually part of the A Team. Who knows, maybe he will be paired up with Spencer romantically. Either way, he is a welcome addition to the group.

Troian Bellisario even tweeted about Buzolic's participation in PLL on her Twitter account, along with a photo of the two of them working on the set, posted on her Instagram account.

Nathaniel, who also goes by the name Nate or Nate Buzz, is a graduate of Screenwise Film & TV School for Actors in Sydney, Australia.

He was a TV presenter on the late-night program "The Mint," on Australia's Channel Nine. And, he co-hosted the educational show "Weather Ed," on the Weather Channel.

"Pretty Little Liars," also stars Lucy Hale as Aria Montgomery, Ashley Benson as Hanna Marin, Shay Mitchell as Emily Fields, Sasha Pieterse as Alison DiLaurentis and Janel Parrish as Mona Vanderwaal.

Apart from the girls, other notable PLL cast members include Ian Harding as Ezra Fitz, Laura Leighton as Ashley Marin, Holly Marie Combs as Ella Montgomery and Chad Lowe as Byron Montgomery.

Aside from appearing on "The Vampire Diaries," and "Pretty Little Liars," Nathaniel Buzolic was also featured in various TV shows such as the BBC soap "Out of the Blue," "Home and Away," "All Saints," and "Crownies." He also made a cameo appearance as Kol on another CW TV show, "The Originals," which premiered on Oct. 3, 2013 in the U.S.
