'The Vampire Diaries' In Atlanta: Nikki Reed Fears Ian-Nina Reconciliation, Moves In With Somerhalder And Monitors Him While On Set--- Report
Now that filming for "The Vampire Diaries" has resumed and set in Atlanta, Georgia, a report claims Nikki Reed is keeping a watchful eye over new beau Ian Somerhalder while he performs his Damon scenes with his ex-girlfriend Nina Dobrev. And what better way to do this than to move in with the actor in Atlanta so she could monitor him better.
Although reports have claimed both Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev have moved on from their split in May 2013 following a three-year relationship, Inquisitr suggests Nikki Reed is not taking any chances on the possibility of reconciliation between the ex-lovers. The "Twilight" actress allegedly wanted to be closer to her man, literally, while he films Season 6 of the CW drama "The Vampire Diaries" in Atlanta. So to do this she has reportedly moved in with Ian so she could monitor him better while he spends more time with Nina on set. Nikki Reed is said to be keeping a keen eye on her new man even while he shoots his Damon scenes with Nina Dobrev (Elena). In the hit TV series, Elena and Damon are hopelessly in love with one another so it's expected some steamy scenes are bound to happen.
A source told US Weekly that the new couple has fast tracked their relationship and has moved in together after just three weeks of dating. Additionally, the source claimed Nikki goes to the set of "The Vampire Diaries" every day.
While many fans are reportedly still vying for Nina Dobrev and Ian to get back together, the 35-year old actor on the other hand has no qualms when it comes to proving to everyone that he has moved on. He and Nikki Reed have reportedly been spotted on numerous events showing a lot of PDA. E News reports during the San Diego Comic-Con weekend party, an eyewitness claims they were kissing and holding hands.
Likewise, at the 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, Ian Somerhalder told E! that "life is good" with the 26-year old Nikki Reed and "he couldn't be happier."
"There's a lot of support and love from a lot of people," he said
