Vampire Diaries from the past and the present gathered for the show's 100th episode celebration on November 9 after 5 years of being in the show. The celebration also serves as a reunion of cast and crews who has been with the show since the beginning of Season 1.

The 100th episode celebration was headed by the 3 main characters - Nine Dobrev, Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder. The rest of Mystic Falls residents are all there, including Zach Roerig, Steven R. McQueen, Kat Graham, Michael Trevino and Candice Accola with fiancé Joseph King. Newcomers Olga and Shaun Sipos are also in attendance.

"The Originals" cast are also there to celebrate - Joseph organ, Daniel Gillies, Claire Holt, Nathaniel Buzolic, Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis, Daniella Pineda and Danielle Campbell.

It seems like yesterday that Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) are admiring the hot new guy Stefan (Paul Wesley), and since that day everything seems like a rollercoaster ride as the characters found out who they are and the plot thickens as the "originals" came into the picture.

Nina Dobrev tweeted as the cast and crew wrapped up the 100th episode. "Officially wrapped our 100th Episode yesterday!!!!!! With a picture of a cake give by the show's creator Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson.

"100 fricking episodes! Huh? You're also amazing-thanks 4 this insane spaceship ride. I truly thank&love you. Love IS&DS," Ian also wrote on Twitter.

Vampire Diaries Season 5

Season 5 was renewed on February 11, 2013 and started filming on July 10, 2013 where original cast will continue as regulars for CW's top rated show. The new season premiered on October 3, 2013 which was followed by the series premiere of the spin-off "The Originals."

"I Know What You Did Last Summer" is the first episode of Season 5 that features Elena and Carolina going to Whitmore College as they to fit in and live a normal life. Within the next episodes new characters will be introduced: Nadia played by Olga Fonda, a girl with a mission of revenge and Jesse played by Kendrick Sampson, an upper-class lad who goes to college.
