The Vampire Diaries has been renewed for season 4 and many people are looking for season 4 updates.

The producers of the Vampire Diaries are generous when it comes to sharing interesting news about the season 4 of the Vampire Diaries. One of which is the fate of Klaus who is played by Joseph Morgan.

In the season finale last season 3, Klaus was supposedly dead as he burst into flames. Though this was the scene that was showed last season, Klaus' soul survived and was found to be inside Tyler's (Michael Trevino) body.

In line with that, Michael Trevino who plays Tyler shared his excitement about his darker role. He shared that he hopes "it lasts" and also added his own input stating " "I would imagine the first episode of season four I'll be playing Klaus, but I want to see how long we can push it."

The executive producer for The Vampire Diaries also shared that Klaus's physical body is also alive but he plans on staying and using Tyler's body. He revealed it through his statement saying "He's (Klaus) definitely going to prolong his stay, at least in the first episode, due to circumstance.

Whatever goes down between Caroline and 'Tyler' in the first episode will actually be happening between Caroline and Klaus, so we'll have some fun there."
