'Vampire Diaries' Season 5: Actor Shaun Sipos Cast as Aaron, New Man in Nina Dobrev's Life? [PHOTOS]
Damon and Elena fans will not be pleased to hear the news about a new male character confirmed to become a part of "Vampire Diaries" actress Nina Dobrev's life both on- and off-screen. The Warner Bros. TV rep revealed to TheWrap that, actor Shaun Sipos has been added as a cast member in the upcoming Season 5 of the successful CW TV drama series "The Vampire Diaries."
Shaun Sipos will portray character Aaron who goes to college to break away from his dark past. He will meet and bond with Elena when a student gets killed at Whitemore College.
The bonding between the two characters will be easy since Elena Gilbert have experienced a dark past as well. E!Online reports that Elena and Aaron will become best friends with the possibility of becoming more than best friends as Elena tries to make her long-distance romantic relationship with Damon Salvatore work.
Elena may have a new man in his life but the Delena fans can give a sigh of relief because creator and executive producer Julie Plec revealed that Season 5 writers will keep couple Damon and Elena happy together. "We'll see how well we do with that," Ms Plec stated.
At present, the 31-year-old Canadian actor is booked to film a couple of episodes in "Vampire Diaries" Season 5. However, other reports speculate about the chances that Shaun Sipos will appear much longer in the TV drama series given that his character will become close and important to Nina Dobrev.
For those who may not know who Shaun Sipos is, the actor has starred in CW's brief reboot on "Life Unexpected" and "Melrose Place." Mr Sipos' other TV guest appearances include "CSI" and "Southland" with horror films "Texas Chainsaw 3D," "The Grudge 2" and "Final Destination 2" as his movie projects.
Devoted TVD fans can start watching actor Shaun Sipos as Aaron when "The Vampire Diaries" TV drama series return for brand new Season 5 on Thursday, October 10, at the CW Television Network.
