The released sneak peak video of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5, Episode 7 titled "Death and the Maiden" shows the Beremy relationship coming to an end. It appears Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R McQueen) is ready to say goodbye to Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) on the "Other Side" after all of the turmoil that happened in Episode 6 "Handle with Care."

In the video clip, Jeremy tells Bonnie with a heavy heart that keeping Amara (Nina Dobrev) alive may not be that easy since she is the anchor that keeps the "Other Side" in one piece and her death would mean the end of that supernatural dimension. "I wonder what will happen, if she dies and the Other Side gets destroyed. Do you think there'll be a white light and then nothing? It won't hurt, will it? It would suck if it hurt," Bonnie stated.

Things started to get emotional between the two "Vampire Diaries" characters when Jeremy revealed there are three things he wanted to tell Bonnie but the witch pleaded not to have a goodbye speech. Jeremy still tells Bonnie "This is not a goodbye. That's the first thing. I know in one way or another, that you will always be here. The second is, thank you for giving your life up for me" and was cut short with the third thing he was about to say which is perhaps a declaration of love.

Bonnie may not be ready to hear that yet so she promises Jeremy that there will still be another time to say it. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 is certainly getting more complicated but exciting in every episode.

The images shown for both episodes include Tessa (Janina Gavankar) who still works on with her powers with Elena or Katherine (Nina Dobrev), Silas or Stefan (Paul Wesley), Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) and Caroline (Candice Accola) getting cozy with Jesse (Kendrick Sampson).

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW network.
