'Vampire Diaries' Season 6, Episode 8 Spoilers: Kai’s Murderous Past To Be Revealed, Synopsis And Promo Video Tease ‘Friendsgiving’ Dinner [VIDEO]

In the next episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will be on a mission to find a way to save Bonnie (Kat Graham). The synopsis and promo video for episode 8 titled "Fade Into You" tease that the Salvatore brothers are not invited to a "Friendsgiving" dinner at Whitmore College.

According to the synopsis in a Comic Book Movie report, Caroline (Candice Accola) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) are going to celebrate Thanksgiving or their "Friendsgiving" dinner with Jo (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe), Liam (Marco James), Live (Penelope Mitchell), Luke (Chris Brochu) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) as the guests at the gathering. The promo video teased that Stefan (Paul Wesley) seems upset that he did not receive an invitation to the Thanksgiving dinner.

"Hey, were you invited to a Friendsiving?" Stefan asks Damon in the promo video. "Were you not invited?" Damon responds. The upcoming episode's synopsis revealed that Stefan, Damon and Alaric (Matt Davis) will go to Portland to find some information on the Gemini Coven.

The promo video also showed Elena telling Liam that she is a vampire and finding out that her best friend Bonnie is still alive. Watch the promo video below.

Kai's (Chris Wood) murderous past as well as Jo's (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) past will be further revealed in the upcoming new episode. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 7 titled "Do You Remember the First Time?" exposed that Jo is the witch sister that Kai tried to gut out with a knife.

The episode synopsis teased that the gang's "Friendsgiving" dinner will take a drastic turn as Jo fights for her life after revealing some of her painful ordeal in the past. Because of that, Alaric will have no choice but to help from a distance.

Scenes are expected to get more intense and exciting because Kai makes a dangerous discovery that will make him one step closer to getting himself out of Mystic Falls 1994 into the present time. Another detail shared in the episode synopsis involves Tyler who will be determined to help Liv after the witch and her twin brother revealed some disturbing information on their witch lineage as well as their coven's plan for them.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 8 titled "Fade Into You" is scheduled to air on Thursday night, Nov. 20, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
