Enzo (Michael Malarkey) was absent in the premiere episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 but the fans will now see the vampire character in episode 2 titled "Yellow Ledbetter." In a released sneak peek video for the upcoming episode, Enzo reunites with Caroline (Candice Accola) as they go on a road trip again for a mission.

According to a Wet Paint report, the episode synopsis revealed that Enzo has convinced Caroline to join him in tracking down a lead that can bring back Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham). However, the promo video teased that Enzo has tricked Caroline and the blonde vampire has no idea where they are going. Have a look at the sneak peek video below.

The report further teased what the TVD fans can expect in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 2. The upcoming new episode will also have Caroline discovering what Stefan (Paul Wesley) has really been up to since he left Mystic Falls while Tripp (Colin Ferguson) reveals to Matt (Zach Roerig) his interesting connection to the town.

An Entertainment Weekly report further teased that "Yellow Ledbetter" will finally reveal Damon and Bonnie's location after the ending scene of the premiere episode what breakfast looks like for the two TVD characters every day. Additionally, the next episode will continue on the plot where Elena (Nina Dobrev) asked Alaric (Matt Davis) to compel her to forget that she ever loved Damon so she could move on with her life.

Actress Nina Dobrev shared in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Elena's decision may be rash and she will regret it soon but it is the only solution for her character to go on with life without Damon. The 25-year-old CW star further added that the process of taking away Damon with Alaric's help will be a long one. "[It's] situation by situation. You don't just say one thing and compel them. It's going to be a long process to alter every memory that she's had and every experience that she's had," Dobrev explained.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is scheduled to return with episode 2 titled "Yellow Ledbetter" on Thursday night, Oct. 9, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
