'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Damon To Struggle With The Guilt Over Bonnie's Sacrifice, Bonnie To Appear In A High School Flashback Scene
Bonnie (Kat Graham) is still stuck with psychopathic Kai (Chris Wood) in 1994 but the fans can still see the Bennett witch in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6. Additionally, what Bonnie did in episode 5 titled "The World Has Turned and Left Me Here" will have Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) struggling with the guilt over coming back home without the Bennett witch.
Executive producer Caroline Dries revealed in a TV Guide interview that fans will see the Salvatore vampire struggling with the guilt of Bonnie sacrificing herself again for other people. "Damon believes she was left for dead," Dries shared.
As for Bonnie who is stuck with a very unpredictable Kai, the executive producer teased that it is going to be an endless bad dream for the TVD character. "We'll see basically a horror movie for her and she'd desperately trying to find a way out without letting Kai back," Dries revealed.
Caroline Dries further teased that Damon will choose to lie and cover up what really happened to him and Bonnie instead of telling the rest of the Mystic Falls gang the truth in order to protect their feelings. However, the executive producer revealed that the group of friends will eventually find out that Bonnie is still alive so their mission will be bringing their friend back home.
The TVD fans may not see Bonnie in the present time yet in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 but the character will still continue to appear in the 1994 hell with Kai as well as flashback scenes. The latest TV Guide spoiler report claims Bonnie will reunite with her BFFs Caroline (Candice Accola) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) through flashback scenes when the TVD characters were still high school students.
