'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Mid-Season Finale Episode Promo Photo Stills Show Bonnie's Christmas Memories With Caroline And Elena
The official photo stills from "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 mid-season finale episode has been released to tease what the Christmas season will look like for one character in the CW TV series. The promo photo stills show Bonnie (Kat Graham) with her best friends Caroline (Candice Accola) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) but only through memories or flashback scenes in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 10 titled "Christmas Through Your Eyes."
According to the upcoming episode's synopsis in a Buddy TV report, the Bennett witch will be spending the holiday season alone and stuck in 1994 so she tries to replicate her favorite traditions and remember the happy times with her two friends. One promo photo still showed Bonnie preparing for a snowball fight with Elena while another one showed the two best friends stringing up the popcorn. Click HERE to see photos.
The mid-season finale episode synopsis teased that Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) will be bringing the Christmas spirit to her daughter, Caroline, because she cannot come home to Mystic Falls yet. The anti-magic boundary spell is still very much active and no one has figured out yet how to remove the Traveler's spell.
Other details in the synopsis teased that Alaric (Matt Davis) will be looking for Jo (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe) who has gone missing with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena helping, Tyler (Michael Trevino) approaches twin witches Luke (Chris Brochu) and Liv (Penelope Mitchell) with a plan but it is a risky one, Matt (Zach Roerig) will be determined to take down Enzo (Michael Malarkey) with Jeremy's (Steven R. McQueen) help and Stefan (Paul Wesley) forced to deliver devastating news to Caroline.
Damon was able to return to the present time because of the sacrifice that Bonnie made. Now, it is up to Damon, Elena and the rest of the Mystic Falls gang to help Bonnie and bring her back.
For the TVD fans wondering when the CW TV series will return after the holiday break, a Wet Paint report claims that "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 will return on Jan. 22, 2015 with the Paul Wesley-directed episode titled "Woke Up With a Monster."
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 airs on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network. The mid-season finale episode titled "Christmas Through Your Eyes" is scheduled to air on Dec. 11, 2014.
