The latest spoiler reports on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 claim there will be a social gathering in an upcoming episode. However, a released photo still from "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 5 titled "The World Has Turned and Left Me Here" and an episode synopsis teased that a devastating accident will also happen at the Whitmore College event.

According to the TVD's new episode synopsis in a Carter Matt report, Alaric (Matt Davis) listened to Elena's (Nina Dobrev) advice that he should go out and be more social so he attended a Homecoming party at a corn maze. However, Alaric's social interaction with people, particularly with his new love interest named Jo (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe), will be cut short because of a devastating accident.

An exclusive E!News TV Scoop report shared a photo still from the upcoming episode featuring Alaric and an injured Jo at the corn maze. Click HERE to see photo. The scene looks interesting since Alaric is still struggling with his vampire life.

The fans can recall that Alaric made Elena stop drinking blood from a tumbler cup during his class in the premiere episode titled "I'll Remember" because the scent heightens his blood lust and he already sees his students as blood sausages. Will Alaric be able to control his blood lust or will the vampire end up hurting Jo in the fifth episode of the CW TV series?

The other details in the episode synopsis further teased that Elena will be attending the party at the corn maze with Liam (Marco James) while Caroline (Candice Accola) helps Stefan (Paul Wesley) clean up the mess that Enzo (Michael Malarkey) left behind. Meanwhile, Tyler (Michael Trevino) will once again find himself in a situation where his anger issues and werewolf curse will be put to a test.

As for Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder), the duo will learn an important discovery that will affect their mission of going back home. "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 airs on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network. TVD fans, mark your calendars for the fifth episode of the supernatural TV series titled "The World Has Turned and Left Me Here" is scheduled to air on Oct. 30, 2014.
