‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 7 Spoilers: Caroline welcomes heretics, Bonnie wants to fight
As “The Vampire Diaries” Season 7 premiers on the small screen in October, the cast and the fans of the series are speculating about its storyline. The latest updates of the hit CW series teased of a stronger characters of Caroline and Bonnie, as they face the new heretics.
Actress Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie in “The Vampire Diaries,” shared that her character is fighting to keep Mystic Falls safe against the heretics, TVOverMind writes, citing the latest video teaser released by CW. The actress said her character is someone who “[won’t] sit back for anything.”
She also explained how Bonnie would typically have a game plan to address a problem. “In a lot of the first episodes, you’re going to see Bonnie, Alaric, and Damon really challenging what is happening in their town and challenging our newcomers,” said Graham.
CW network’s “The Vampire Diaries” trailer also showed a more confident and determined Bonnie, who is not afraid to confront the heretics. Graham’s character is likely to play a major role in the upcoming battle to restore order in Mystic Falls.
Undoubtedly, the actress is excited for her role. “It’s really fun to be back in my witchy boots again,” Graham said.
Meanwhile, Bonnie is not the only character who will confronts the heretics in Season 7 of “The Vampire Diaries.” Actress Candice Accola-King, who plays Caroline, will also be involved in some action, according to FanBolt. However, Caroline's approach is likely to be more subtle than other personalities in the CW series.
A separate “The Vampire Diaries” teaser and interview clip showed Caroline presenting a pot of flowers to the heretics as a welcoming gift. Following the clip, the actress clarified that Caroline’s act doesn’t mean that she is a fan of the heretics. “Caroline is definitely the welcome wagon. She’s going to win them over with her wit and her charm… while also blowing them up,” Accola-King said.
“The Vampire Diaries” season 7 will premiere on Oct. 8 in the U.S.
