'The Vampire Diaries' season 8 episode 11 spoilers: Cade gives Stefan and Damon more deadly orders; Matt and Caroline unite to protect residents; Enzo and Bonnie go on a road trip

Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) receives his latest assignment from Cade (Wole Parks) in the next episode of “The Vampire Diaries,” titled “You Made a Choice to be Good.” Lately, it has been clear that Cade has no plans of making things easy for the Salvatore brothers, with both coerced into doing horrible things as a result of their agreement. They have already killed a lot of people for their boss -- and it looks like things are about to get even worse.

Executive producer Julie Plec had promised that she will be treating fans to a load of familiar faces on the previous episode; and she did fulfil her promise. However, not all of them were happy to see Damon once again.
The episode begins with Damon trapped in his own mind, where only Caroline Forbes (Candice King) and Bonnie Bennett (Kat Graham) can rescue him. This looks like another problem for them with Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) still going full-on reaper mode and Enzo St. John (Michael Malarkey) still deciding about taking the cure.
In Damon’s head, he saw Victoria Donovan (Kayle Ewell) still alive and working at the Mystic Grill. Sheriff Forbes (Marguertie MacIntyre) is also alive and on the hunt for vampires. Tyler also made a special appearance but, unlike the other two, it looked like he knew what he was up to. He tells Bonnie that Damon killed him and that he is the only one who could forgive him. This looks like he is not aware that he was not the key to Damon’s Salvation and that, instead, it was Stefan.
In the official promo video [watch below] , Damon and Stefan get ordered by Cade to do some tough assignments -- and somebody else will have to pay for them. It also teases that Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) is still in Damon’s mind and he might get tempted to sacrifice someone so that she could be brought back.
The official synopsis reveals that Cade will be back in Mystic Falls. He will present Stefan and Damon with additional assignments that, if not done correctly, will have unthinkable consequences. While Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig) and Caroline Forbes’ (Candice King) friendship might have its fair share of tension, they will unite to protect the residents from Cade’s hunger for their souls. Enzo and Bonnie will go on a romantic trip as they take the bell with them.d
Meanwhile, Plec got nostalgic on social media recently and posted a photo saying goodbye to TVD. The Twitter image showed a bird's eye view of Covington, where the fictional Mystic Falls is set. She followed it with post that says "Not gonna lie, that particular goodbye hurt #TVDFinale."
Season 8 episode 11 of “ The Vampire Diaries ” will air on February 3 on The CW in the US. It will also air in Australia on FOX8.
