Fans of “Vampire Diaries” should not get too hung up on Tyler Lockwood since sources say that another character is about to follow suit. Executive Producer Julie Plec revealed earlier that Tyler will not be the last character on the show to say goodbye. When pushed for more information, she gave out cryptic hints that include words like “terrible” and “painful.”
Spoiler alert! This article contains “The Vampire Diaries” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens next before the next episode airs.
Death has always been looming on the horizon for characters of “The Vampire Diaries.” While fans know this, not everyone might be able to afford to lose more fan favourites, even considering that the show is already at its final season. Some sources even say that Alaric might be one of those bets who would survive the series alive.
With death already confirmed and being imminent, fans can expect some violence from Stefan now that he has flipped off his humanity switch. Plec reveals that Stefan has never been good with temptation especially while he is in ripper mode, shares TV Line. Fans already know from past experience that Stefan has a threshold, and it will be Damon’s duty to make sure his brother is okay and make sure that he stays on the safe side of that threshold. If things are not in control, they could lose him forever.
Of course, who exactly would die next had not yet been revealed, but some sources predict that either Caroline, Matt, Bonnie and Enzo could all be next. That of Bonnie’s might be the most anticipated death, but this is only because her life is linked to Elena Gilbert’s. If Bonnie would die, that could mean the return of Nina Dobrev’s character on the show.
Dobrev has been a fan favourite, but she left the show after season 6. She has been sorely missed ever since. A lot of fans are still hopeful that they get to see her once again even just before the final episode of the show. There have been no confirmations for now, besides spoilers of a “painful” death.
“The Vampire Diaries” will resume airing on January 13, 2017. It will also air on FOX8 in Australia.
