'Vampire Diaries' Stars Heat Up Cover of Entertainment Weekly
The cast of the hit television show, "Vampire Diaries" are heating up the cover of Entertainment Weekly. It won't be a surprise if they've managed to burn a hole through it seeing as stars, Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley are barely covered up and posing in provocative and sensual ways.
It's difficult to rip eyes off the cover especially with Ian Somerhalder. The Salvatore brooding brother definitely knows what a smoldering look feels like. His shot on the cover with the stunning and not to mention sexy, Nina Dobrev, puts all his bathroom stills in the series to shame.
Though it comes as a bit ironic that the darker brood, Damon Salvatore, is under white, pearly sheets knowing his character in the series is of the dark side. It raises a few eyebrows as well seeing as they both appear naked under the white linen sheets.
As for Ian Somerhalder's brother on set, actor Paul Wesley, seems to have landed on the wrong sheets. His pose with Nina Dobrev comes off as a bit more subtle and "tasteful." The dark sheets may represent Stefan Salvatore's dark side in the latest episodes of "Vampire Diaries."
Directors Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec both have their say when it comes to the brewing romance between the Salvatore brothers and the lovely, Elena. Though they aren't ones to bring down either ships or break a few shipper hearts, both still kept the show's fans in mind when it came to the show's game plan.
"It's one of those things that you want to be able to defend," said Williamson. "But even more importantly, you'd rather not defend it. You want it to feel real and right and natural by all the audience," continued Williamson.
While the covers of Entertainment Weekly aren't really enough to satiate the hunger of "Vampire Diaries" fans, three photos of the trio are more than enough to give fans a complete turn on for what might happen with their beloved Stelena-Delena love triangle. For now, fans will have to wait until February 10 before they get their hands on the copy.
