Former Disney star Vanessa Hudgens has definitely transitioned from sweet to sultry in her new gruesome movie.

She used to make teen movies and musicals, but this time, Vanessa Hudgens has transformed herself into a sexy stripper in her new upcoming movie together with Nicolas Cage and John Cusack.

Vanessa stars in "The Frozen Ground" and takes the role of Cindy Paulson, a prostitute that almost lost her life to an Alaskan serial killer, Robert Hansen.

Now, the former "High School Musical" star is bring the horrific tale which is based from a true story. She stars along John Cusack who plays as the serial killer and Nicolas Cage as Detective Glen Flothe, the man who took Paulson's testimony seriously.

On the trailer for the movie, Vanessa can be seen wearing only skimpy underwear as she teasingly dances around a pole. The young actress appears sexy and sultry as a flock of men gathered around to watch her on stage.

Prior to the movie, Vanessa was often seen in and out of the gym. She was probably preparing for the physical demands of her recent film.

From her innocent and sweet roles, it looks like Vanessa is taking her career into a different direction with the gritty movie which is set to be released on December 1.
