Taylor Swift had recently been included in People magazine's best dressed of 2014. Now, the country crooner has been named the reigning queen of style by none other than Vanity Fair. Joining Queen Taylor Swift as style icon of 2014 is British supermodel, Cara Delevingne. What factors make Taylor and Cara style icons by Vanity Fair?

According to Vanity Fair, the country crooner and the British supermodel put in a lot of effort into their look. While Taylor Swift has made sure to plan her outfits making her appear prim and proper, Cara Delevingne's spontaneous look that expresses her personality makes a statement.

Being active on the social media photo sharing site, Instagram earns both Cara and Taylor points. Vanity Fair points out that these two celebrities are active on Instagram not only with their outfits for the day but their colourful lifestyle involving friends and family. In Taylor's case, her cats are always of the main attraction in Instagram.

While Taylor Swift's performance for Victoria's Secret fashion show was enough to prove she could be a model, the country crooner stuck to being featured on high end fashion magazines. On the other hand, Cara Delevingne has been a long-time favourite for New York and Milan Fashion Week shows. Both celebrities have been embraced by the sparkling world of fashion.

The proof that Taylor and Cara are the reigning queens of style according to Vanity Fair is that they're seen almost everywhere. From magazines to television advertisements, Taylor and Cara's presence is visually present.
