Is Victoria Beckham right on forbidding her husband David from purchasing a car door used in "a classic British show"? A purchase of car door does seem outright impractical in this economic climate, but what fans should understand is that David had put his European properties on the market late in March.

Aside from their mansion in Hertfordshire, David is selling five of his vehicles. Beckham's two Bentleys, BMW 645, Lamborghini Gallardo and Range Rover Sport are currently up for grabs. A car door in exchange for five cars sounds reasonable a barter.

David expressed his desire to own the door of the Robin Reliant, a yellow three wheeler, from the comedy show "Only Fools And Horses" when it comes to auction later this month. By then Beckham's five cars would have been already sold. It would be one good souvenir to remember his time in Europe.

A source, quoted by femalesfirst.co.uk, said: "David reckons it would be great to buy and bring it back to Los Angeles. He's a massive fan of 'Only Fools and Horses' and watches it with his sons all the time. The main sticking point is Victoria. She's not too keen on having a bright yellow car door knocking about."

But Victoria could simply be concerned with the message such purchase would convey. On its surface, it does sound a bit impractical. IShe may want David to channel the money for more worthy cause, which would come as no surprise after all she recently used her social media influence on Twitter to raise awareness that 783 million people are yet to gain access to potable water among her more than 3 million followers. That's simply is her style.
