Victoria Beckham wears her fall 2015 dress for Vogue Germany cover
Victoria Beckham is the latest cover star for Vogue Germany. Appearing on the front of the November issue fashion bible, the 41-year-old wears a white sleeveless dress with oversized button details on the straps.
The dress is a custom version of the designer’s Fall 2015 collection, which is available in two colours, black and brown. This wrap dress features oversized tortoiseshell button details on the shoulders for a dose of sophistication. The mid-calf length also features a belted waist.
The pictures for the cover were shot by Irish photographer Boo George in London, with Beckham sharing the cover shot on her Instagram page. She also posted two pictures, showing her cutting an androgynous figure in a tailored shirt, trousers and braces, from the shoot in black and white.
Beckham has had a smooth transition from music to her now famous line, which was launched in 2008. Celebrities like Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Siennna Miller regularly wear her designs. The former Spice Girls’s empire is worth millions and her first flagship store was opened on London's trendy Dover Street in 2014.
Her designs are known to be minimalist but at the same time elegantly and stylishly fashionable. The designer has worked hard to ensure that this is followed in all her collections. Her designs are liked by many and she has received rave reviews for her new collection during the recent New York Fashion Week.
“I just started doing what I’d always hoped to do. Fashion has been my passion since forever,” she said. Beckham added that she did not get into designing to prove anything to anyone, Hello reported.
The mother of four said that before the launch of her designer label, she had a fair idea of what she wanted to create. She added that she simply wanted to create the perfect dress, which was easy to wear. Beckham said that her customers can depend on her dress -- they just need to get into it, pull the zipper up, and they will be ready to go out.
