A collection that celebrates comfort, considered looseness, and silhouette; Victoria Beckham is beaming with pride as she presents her Spring/Summer 2014 collection on New York Fashion Week. The front row seats was occupied by David Beckham with their daughter Harper watching attentively in his lap, Rachel Zoe, Charlotte Steinway and other VIP's.

The former Spice Girl focuses on the play between feminine and boyish style as she shapes the season with curving skirts that features peek-a-boo pleating in white and tops with triangle in geometric cuts. This must be a shock to all Victoria Beckham's fans as she reinvented herself as one of Britain's new cohort of 21st - century fashion successes.

Standing in front of an audience wearing a crisp, white shirt tucked into a pair of black man-tailored short, she explained, "It's just me, it's everything I want to wear!" Ever since she started showing in New York in February 2011, Beckham has come a long and made a name for herself as she shrug away the super posh "luxury" collection for footballers' wives.

The sporty component of Beckham's line features boxy cuts, boyish collars and v-neck tank tops as she reminisce the nineties fashion. A decade that favors the aesthetic of white shirts, camisole tops, dresses over pants, and men's tailoring.

Gone were the days of truss-tight, gold-zippered and killer dresses. Instead she let her inner athlete do the talking as she merge the boy and girl sensibilities with her sporty jackets, cropped pants with tempered feminine details, buttoned-up dress shirts and structures blazers.

Known for her mid-length body con dresses, "Posh Spice" surprised everyone with her choice of hemline. Punctuated by the occasional pop of fushia, she chose flirty mini hems with monochromatic colors.

The collection is Beckhams's attempt to offer a better class of clothes with her spotless perfection but this she expressed it in a less uptight way. Beckham also managed to hooked into one of the season's early favorites, the slouchy culotte where she paired it with sleeveless tuxedo vest is an absolute masterpiece.

The show also features sheer bomber jackets matched with some t-shirt variants with flat-heeled bandage shoes courtesy of Manolo Blahnik. The shoes also set the tone for the fashions geometric handbags thanks to Beckham's long-time footwear collaborator.
