Victoria's Secret Angels List Revealed For This Year's Show; Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne Left Out
With less than a month left, Victoria's Secret has released the list of models walking the runway this year. Two of the senior models, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, will be part of the show. It will showcase this year's high point-a $2 million bra, embedded with diamonds, rubies and 18k gold.
These two models hold a contract with the lingerie line and don't need to undergo audition for the selection. Apart from them, even world famous top models have to undergo the whole casting process before they can be taken finally in the show.
The final casting and fittings for what is acclaimed as the world's biggest and prestigious modelling show will be happening in New York this week. Confirmed models have opted Instagram and Twitter as the platforms to announce their selection, as well as excitement, for this year's show.
There will be some familiar faces while others will be debuting for the first time. As per The Independent, among the seasoned models are Jourdan Dunn, Danish model Josephine Skriver, Swedish model Elsa Hosk, Australian model Shanina Shaik, Kelly Gale, Devon Windsor, Maria Borges, Lais Ribeiro and Eniko Mihalik.
Debutant models of the show will be Spanish model Blanca Padilla and Brazilian model Daniela Braga. Other models who also shared their inclusion via Instagram are Barbara Fialho, Lais Ribeiro, Imaan Hammam and Cindy Bruna.
Unless and until any last minute surprise will be added by Victoria's Secret, no report on whether Kendall Jenner will be part of this esteemed list has been disclosed at present. Despite ripe speculations that she might make her debut with the lingerie brand this year following her stunt at Paris fashion week, nothing is officially confirmed as of the moment.
Also found missing from the list is Cara Delevingne. Nothing from her camp has been released regarding the highly anticipated show as well. The Victoria's Secret 2014 show will be held at London on Dec. 2 and is scheduled to air on CBS on Dec. 9.
