One of the worlds's most anticipated fashion shows, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is an annual event sponsored by the lingerie company to promote and market its products to the Hollywood elites. The show features world's leading fashion models and Victoria's Secret Angels including Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lindsay Ellingson, Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes and Adam Levine's fiancé Behati Prinsloo.

The prestigious event attracts hundreds of celebrities and entertainers worldwide, with twenty to forty top fashion models invited to the show to strut in its lavish runway. Since its inception in August 1995, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show has become a Christmas tradition that people from U.S. and some parts of the world are looking forward every year.

According to supermodel Ariana Lima, VS Fashion Show has become an elaborate and big Christmas tradition with glittering lingerie and huge angel wings.

"It became part of the Christmas culture, it's like a performance. We have many musicians, the angels. It's really a great show," says the mother of two in an interview with On The Coach.

From its humble beginnings, the fashion show has earned a reputation as one of the most watched fashion of the year raking over 2 million internet viewers in 1999. The 17th VS Fashion Show in 2012 featured newcomers and returning angels, with special performances of Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Bruno Mars.

In the recent years many of the VS models have disclosed the shocking information that before they hit the runway the models have to go through layers of cover-up and bronzer to ensure that every imperfection is concealed. Models are not allowed to consume solid food in nine days leading to the final night and no water for 12 hours before the show.

However, all these sacrifices are worth it with given every model walks out with $10,000 for the Fashion Show alone. Aside from gorgeous models, the show also features Billboard Top 100 superstars and for this year's show country superstar, Taylor Swift is set to perform two of her hit songs, including performances from Neon Jungle and Fall Out Boy.

The glittering fashion show is scheduled to be aired on Tuesday, December 10 on CBS at 10PM.
