The cast of Nickelodeon's former show, "Victorious" had a reunion party just yesterday. However, the notable absence of the lead star, Victoria Justice was quite noticeable. Have things really gone south between former friends, Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice?

"Victorious" despite being victorious in views had been cancelled by Nickelodeon after three seasons. Dan Schneider, the show's creator, published the news via his blog which is as follows.

"By now, a lot of you have heard that "Victorious" will not be returning for a 4th season. That is true. This was the network's decision - not mine. Please understand: Almost all Nickelodeon shows have a life of about 60 episodes. We made around 60 episodes of "Drake & Josh"... of "Zoey 101"... and we made 41 episodes of "The Amanda Show"... and all those shows were big hits. So, it's not unusual for a Nick show to do a run of just 60 episodes. I would love to have made more than 60 of "Victorious," but that's how it usually goes."

"We're extremely proud of the show, and all we've accomplished. Also - and it's really important that you know this - the network's decision about "Victorious" had nothing to do with "Gibby" or "Sam & Cat". I promise. Even if there was no "Gibby" and no "Sam & Cat" - the network still would have ended "Victorious" after its 60-episode run. I know that some of you are upset and angry - and while I feel terrible about that, I'm also flattered by it. I really appreciate that you care so much. It means you love the show, which makes me feel very proud. But I ask that you please not be angry with Victoria, or Leon, Liz, Ariana, Avan... or ANY of the "Victorious" cast members or staff. They all wanted "Victorious" to continue - so did I."

Despite Dan's lengthy explanation about the show's cancelation, Ariana Grande claimed that Victoria Justice was to blame. In Grande's Ask.FM account, a fan had blamed Ariana's new show, "Sam & Cat" as to why "Victorious" gad been cancelled. The statement is as follows.

"Actually no nobody said that and even if they did this is different because Sam & Cat ruined Victorious. All those other shows had closure. Victorious didn't have closure because of Sam & Cat no matter what you people (you and Dan) say. You're obviously just trying to protect yourselves from the hate."

Of course, Grande took offense at this and blamed Victoria Justice.

"Sweetheart the only reason Victorious ended is because 1 girl didn't want to do it. She chose to do a solo tour instead of a cast tour. If we had done a cast tour Nickelodeon would have ordered another season of Victorious while Sam and Cat filmed simultaneously but she chose otherwise. I'm sick of this bs," answered Ariana.

The original post had then been deleted after a few minutes. Yet, it still managed to reach the eyes of Victoria Justice who also took offense at Grande's claim.

"Some people would throw some1 they consider a friend under the bus just 2 make themselves look good. #StopBeingAPhony #IfTheyOnlyKnew," said Victoria on her Twitter.

Judging from how the fight between Justice and Grande begun, things have practically gone south for the former friends. Seeing as to how Victoria was absent as well during the "Victorious" cast reunion, the lead star had seemingly rubbed the wrong way with the cast.

Still, fans can only speculate until Victoria Justice comes clean about the real reason the show got cancelled. For one, Justice is currently busy on tour and opening up for Big Time Rush. Grande did get one point correct.
