Video Game Guide: Exciting Video Games To Hit This May, Watch Dogs, Transistor And More
It's already been a week into May which means the most anticipated video game releases of 2014 is fast approaching.
May has a handful of new game titles for various platforms including Bound By Flame and Watch Dogs. So don't hold back and find your perfect game partner from the list below.
Bound By Flame (May 9)
Bound by Flame is an RPG game created by Spiders studios, the same developer of "Mars: War Logs and Of Orcs and Men." The game is set in a dark fantasy universe where seven Icelords have taken over. Gamers will be playing Vulcan, a member of a mercenary called "Pure Blades." Vulcan is task to protect a group of priests bound to cast spells to defeat the Icelords. However, something goes wrong with the spell and Vulcan ended being possessed by a Flame Demon. This is where the journey begins, where Vulcan is faced with different choices that could change the course of the game. In a sense, Vulcan's destiny lies into his own hands.
Available for PC, PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360.
Wolfenstein: The New Order (May 20)
This is the ninth installment in the Wolfenstein series developed by MachineGames. It is a first-person shooter game that follows a standard first-person shooter formula with the player taking on the enemies over the course of the level. The game is set in Europe during the 1960's and the player will assume the character of OSA agent William "B.J." Blazkowicz, whose task is to defeat the newly mechanized Nazi powers that have taken over the world. The player will be battling legions of enemies and infiltrating Nazi strongholds. This game follows three years after the events of Wolfenstein when Blazkowicz suffered an amnesia for 14 years and woke up to discover that the world has been dominated by a more advanced enemy.

Transistor (May 20)
Developed by Supergiant Games,Transistor is a hack-and-slash style RPG game set in a sci-fi world. Gamers will play Red, a young singer, who posessess a powerful and intelligent sword named Transistor. Red fights through a stunning futuristic city as she is being pursued by the Process who also wants to get hold of the Transistor.

Watch Dogs (May 27)
Watch Dogs is the big new IP from Ubisoft. The game is a tech thriller set in an alternative version of modern Chicago. Gamers will play protagonist Aiden Pearce, a hacker who is able to gain access to everything, from a record of a passing smartphone user to government computer infrastructures. His motive is clearly of revenge on what happened to his past, and he is targeting the corporation that runs the city's Central Operating System. According to Forbes, it's a near-future, open-world hacking game whose quasi-cyber-punk theme has potential to make a big hit in the video game market. Meanwhile, TheGuardian said it is a wake-up call on internet security.

Mario Kart 8 (May 30)
Mario Kart 8 is a racing game developed by Nintendo EAD Group No. 1. It's a fun, kart-racing game in Mario universe, where players compete against each other to win the race using hurdles found in item boxes to outdo the competition. A new feature in the game is anti-gravity racing, in which racers can drive on walls and ceilings on certain parts of the track. Mario 8 supports local and online multiplayer for up to twelve players.
