Shailene Woodley, who is set to appear in "The Fault In Our Stars" and "Divergent," couldn't help but cry as she watched her hair being chopped off her head.

Last August Shailene Woodley posted on her Twitter accout that she was cutting her hair short for a cause (her long locks were donated to Children with Hair Loss). Also the "Divergent" star had to cut her hair since she is set to play the lead role in John Green's novel "The Fault in Our Stars." Shailene will portray the character of Hazel Grace, a teenaged cancer patient who meets Augustus Waters (played by Ansel Elgort), a recovering cancer patient, in a support group and subsequently falls in love with him.

Fans had known of the haircut, but they haven't seen the video of the process until today. In the video below, Woodley is seen crying while her hair is being chopped off and staff captured the moment on their phones. Even author of "The Fault In Our Stars" John Green was there to witness the moment.

"I have to see it! I have to see it!," the star exclaimed after the first section of her hair has been cut, and even added that she might cry so hard once she sees it.

In the end though, Shailene had a huge grin on her as she exclaimed that she looks cool. Afterwards, she had a few snapshots taken of her new look with her mom.

In Gloss.com, Hayley Hoover said she never thought she'd be obsessed over a haircut video to watch it multiple times. She thinks Shailene's crying while having her hair cut is so cute.
