Jay Z got physically assaulted by Solange, Beyoncé's sister. According to reports, she ferociously kicked and swung at him. Moreover, the entire incident was captured on video.

The video shows Solange is seen stepping into an elevator. She is accompanies by her sister Beyoncé and brother-in-law Jay Z. Just after three of them entered the elevator, Solange apparently got furious at Beyoncé's husband. She went "crazy" and started screaming at him. Thereafter, she unleashed a "violent attack." According to TMZ sources, the feud apparently took place at a Met Gala after party held at the Boom Boom Room of the Standard Hotel last week in New York.

The video also shows "a large man" who may have been a bodyguard as he tries to hold the sis-in-law back. However, she apparently managed to hit Jay Z at least 3 times during the fight. Interestingly, Jay Z never seems to strike back at his wife's sister. Solange is even seen kicking at him while he grabs her foot. Still, he does not try to assault her on the physical level, according to the video. Meanwhile, Beyoncé is seen standing by without being physically involved in the fight. At one point, the "bodyguard" hit the emergency stop switch on the 12th floor. It was an apparent attempt to keep the dispute private.

Nevertheless, it is still unclear what exactly happened that angered Solange so much that she had to hit Jay Z in the presence of her sister. Radar Online reported that both the sisters were spotted expressing themselves on Instagram without being too specific about it. Only a couple of days after the incident,

Beyoncé shared an image which was "uncharacteristically introspective," according to the Web site. The image shows a few lines that start with "Lord, I lift up every one of my relationships to you and ask You to bless them." It also says "Help me to choose friends wisely so I won't be led astray," it continued. "Give me discernment and strength to separate myself from anyone who is not a good influence. I release my relationships to You and pray that Your will be done in each one of them."

Solange, on the other hand, deleted every photo on Instagram that she had with her sister. She left only one shot in 2013, where she is seen smiling cheerfully with her sister.
