The View hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar walks out on Bill O'Reilly
The View hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar walked off the set of their own show Thursday during an interview with Fox News host Bill O'Reilly.
Bill O'Reilly asserted that "Muslims killed us on 9/11" as the cast debated whether there should be a Muslim community center and mosque built in Lower Manhattan. O'Reilly said that such would be "inappropriate."
Before storming off the set, Goldberg called O'Reilly an "extremist" following O'Reilly's assertion that "Muslims" -- and not Muslim radicals, extremists or terrorists-- killed 'us'" on September 11.
Joy Behar told the Fox News host that Muslims have a right to build the community center and mosque in Lower Manhattan because "this is America." Afterwards, Behar said that she no longer "want to sit here now," as O'Reilley made the statement.
The View hosts Behar and Goldberg left the studio. Watch the video clip from The View available now on YouTube.
